This is a self-guided rut hunt donated by Prince of Wales Eagle Lodge.
Includes 3 days guided sea duck hunting & 2 days of DIY Sitka Blacktail hunting. Lodging for 5 days and 6 nights all meals plus a Vehicle for island transportation (gas metered and charged separately) Each hunter will be allowed to take up to 4 Sitka Blacktail Deer and up to the annual limit of 20 sea ducks no more than 4 of one species. If Harlequin is on your bucket list you have come to the right place along with Surf Scoter, Whitewing Scoter and the occasional Common Scoter.
We also see good numbers of Longtails, Barrows Golden Eye, Common Golden Eye, Buffleheads, Mergansers Red Breasted, Common and Hooded. Not to mention the opportunity to take the rare subspecies Vancouver Canadian Goose. Enjoy hunting out of our 28ft Duckwater boat or experience the thrill of layout boat hunting. In all you will have the potential of harvesting over 13 different species of waterfowl.
POW has a good population of Sitka Blacktail and a hunter can harvest up to 4 bucks annually. November is a great time to hunt these deer while in the rut. When conditions are right, they are very susceptible to a call.
Not included: transportation from Ketchikan to POW, Licenses & Tags and gratuity. Additional hunters can be added.

Items purchased at auction for less than $10,000 will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. Successful bidders for items above $10,000 will be given 24 hours to notify auctioneer of request for different form of payment, otherwise card on file will be processed.
