Flyfishing under the Big Sky of Montana - The Legendary Blackfoot River.
Some trips blend into others. This is not one of them. This is Montana. This is the Blackfoot River, the storied waters where Norman Maclean grew up and which inspired one of America's finest books, and the beautiful film: A River Runs Through It.
The activity - or should we say, the passion - is flyfishing, and of course, that means under the Big Sky. Blue-ribbon streams run across the Treasure State's landscape, but there is no more beloved and unique stream than the Blackfoot River.
You'll be staying and fishing with the most venerable flyfishing operation on the Blackfoot River, North Fork Crossing, located on the North Fork of the Blackfoot, about 50 minutes from Missoula.
Three nights of glamping in deluxe luxurious wall tents with superb cuisine and three days of guided flyfishing for two people are included. After fishing for three days, drive just 2.5 hours north to the monumental, truly stunning Glacier National Park. We venture to say that this will be one of the best trips you have ever taken.
