4 nights and 5 days of Remote fishing on the Yentna River which is 65 miles NW of Anchorage and 1.5 miles from the mouth of Lake Creek.
You will depart from Anchorage's float plane airport (Lake Hood) with Rust's Flying Service which is included with your reservation. Your stay at McDougall Lodge begins with breakfast and a meet and greet safety meeting. Your guide will show you which room or cabin you will be staying in and will be waiting for you to get into his boat as soon as you are able to. Once you show him your AK Fishing license he will then take you out in a jet sled to find the fish. (We get all 5 species of Salmon running in front of our lodge) You will return around 2:30 for an Alaskan style lunch and then back out to fish. Or if you choose to stay in and relax in our Main Lodge with a ping pong, Pool table. Large screen TV and Wi-Fi. Dinner is served every night at 6:30 pm and our Chef will not disappoint you for sure.
Your guide will fillet and shrink wrap the fish you choose to keep daily and it will be frozen and bagged ready to fly out with you at the end of your stay. Many of our guests also enjoy the Cornhole and horse shoe competitions we have after dinner. During your stay if you would like to book a charter to fly up to Mt McKinley and land on a glacier lake, Rust's Flying service will pick you up at the lodge and bring you back to the lodge. It is about a 3 hour trip and is very popular.
Don't wait too long to make your reservations and the Prime weeks fill up fast.
